Women's World Cup 2023: Shinai Sports acquires exclusive streaming rights in China

China's Shinai Sports has acquired the exclusive, full streaming rights to the Women's World Cup 2023 for China, announced FIFA on 20/01/2023.

"The agreement will see all 64 matches broadcast across the platform in the Mainland of China. The platforms of Shinai Sports, such as iQIYI Sports app, sports channel of iQIYI, iQIYI Sports website and QiyiguoTV, will live broadcast the full competition and provide extensive behind-the-scenes, insight and analysis content throughout," said FIFA.

This is the first media rights agreement between Shinai and FIFA. Free-to-air broadcast rights for the competition have not yet been awarded in the region. The full and exclusive broadcasting rights for the Women's World Cup 2019 were held in China by the state-owned CCTV group.
