Premier League: Wolves recreate Molineux Stadium on Rezzil (virtual reality sports training app)

Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (Premier League) are recreating the Molineux Stadium (32,750 capacity, Wolverhampton, ENG) in virtual reality and making it available through the use of a VR headset on the sports training app Rezzil, announced the club on 20/01/2023.

Available only via the Oculus Quest headset (from the Meta Group) through the Rezzil Player app (£14.99/€17) and by downloading the Wolves Virtual Reality Pack (£2.29/€2.50), the experience "allows fans 360 views from the Molineux pitch and supporters can also put their skills to the test, practicing their heading ability in a series of challenges," explained the club. 

"There's been a lot of buzz around the metaverse over the last 12 months and we've been looking for compelling, tangible ways of utilising the technology to offer unique experiences to our supporters," said Richard Pepper, head of digital at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
