Lega Serie A: support for the "Tartalove" campaign for the protection of sea turtles

Lega Serie A supported the "Tartalove" campaign run by the Italian association Legambiente for the protection of sea turtles during Matchday 19 of the 2022-23 Serie A TIM, which took place from 21/01 to 24/01/2023.

As the players took to the pitch, a video presenting the "TartaLove" campaign was shown on the big screens in the stadiums concerned, accompanied by an informative sequence about Legambiente's commitment to the protection of turtles.

"The support of the Lega Serie A for our Tartalove campaign represents an extraordinary opportunity for sea turtles and for nature as a whole. The involvement of the world of football in environmental battles will make it possible to reach a very wide audience by spreading greater awareness of the value of biodiversity, a legacy to be protected with everyone's contribution," said Stefano Ciafani, president of Legambiente.
