Ekstraklasa: Stal Mielec-Lech Poznań to be broadcast on YouTube via Canal+ Sport channel in Poland

Stal Mielec - Lech Poznań, on Matchday 18 of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa (Polish First Division), will be broadcast free of charge in Poland on the Canal+ Sport YouTube channel belonging to the pay and free TV group Canal+ on Friday 27/01/2023 (kick-off at 20:30 CET), announced the Polish league on 25/01/2023.

The match, which will pit seventh-placed Stal Mielec against sixth-placed Lech Poznań, will be the first Polish first division match to be broadcast live on YouTube. The competition resumes this Friday 27/01/2023 after a winter break of more than two months, with Matchday 17 having ended on Sunday 13/11/2022.

Canal+ extended its broadcasting rights to the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa in Poland for the 2023-2027 cycle on 03/10/2022. These rights were acquired for 1.3 billion Polish zloty (€275m), which is 5.2 times the amount for the 2021-2023 cycle (250 million zloty, or €53m).
