Australian Open: Novak Djokovic's sponsors celebrate his win (22 Grand Slam titles record equalled)

Novak Djokovic (ESP, 35) won the 2023 Australian Open against Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-3, 7-6, 7-6) on 29/01/2023. The Serbian has equalled Spaniard Rafael Nadal's record of 22 Grand Slam titles and strengthened his own record of 10 wins in the Australian tournament.

His partners have celebrated this victory on social media, including on Twitter and Instagram (see below). The Serbian's sponsors include Asics, which has been his footwear supplier since 2018, Lacoste (sportswear supplier excluding footwear, 2017-2025), Head (racket supplier), Hublot (watchmaker) but also Waterdrop. Novak Djokovic has become a shareholder and an ambassador of the powdered beverage brand, which has been his sleeve sponsor since 17/01/2023.

Despite losing two sponsors in 2022 (Peugeot and Ultimate Kronos Group), the world No. 1 (as of 30/01/2023) has generated $32m (€29.97m) in sponsorship revenue in 2022, compared to $30m (€26.5m) in 2021, according to Forbes. Novak Djokovic has 31.4 million followers on his social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
