2023-24 Jupiler Pro League: season to begin on 28/07/2023 with a transition from 18 to 16 clubs

The 2023-24 Jupiler Pro League regular season, which will have a total of 30 matchdays, will begin on 28/07/2023 and end on the weekend of 15/03/2024, announced the Pro League on 26/01/2023.

Key dates for the 2023-24 Belgian football season include:
• the first official match, the Pro League Supercup, on 21/07/2023;
• the Jupiler Pro League winter break, from 28/12/2023 to 18/01/2024;
• the play-offs from 29/03/2024 to 26/05/2024;
• the Croky Cup final on Thursday 09/05/2024.

The 2023-24 season will see the implementation of several changes:
• the transition from 18 to 16 clubs in the Jupiler Pro League;
• the "Champions' Play-offs" with the top six teams in the regular season competing for the championship title and three of the four qualifying places for the European competitions;
• the "Europe Play-offs" for clubs ranked from 7^th to 12^th place, whose winner will face the 4^th-placed club in the "Champions' Play-offs" for the last European cup ticket;
