Australian Open 2023 Final: 1.75 million viewers for Djokovic-Tsitsipas on Nine in Australia

Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE) - Novak Djokovic (SRB) (3-6, 6-7, 6-7), the men's final of the Australian Open 2023 Grand Slam, drew an average of 1.75 million viewers in Australia with a peak audience of 2.31 million on the channels of the private media group Nine Entertainment on Sunday 29/01/2023, according to figures released by Tennis Australia, the Australian tennis federation responsible for organising the competition, on 31/01/2023.

Nine Entertainment, the exclusive broadcaster of the competition in Australia, posted a cumulative audience of 10.064 million viewers on its channels for the 2023 edition of the Australian Open.

"Audiences in key global markets were up on 2022. 24.5 million hours were viewed across days 1-10 in the USA, up 6.6% on 2022," said Tennis Australia.

  • In 2022, the men's final between Rafael Nadal (ESP) and Daniil Medvedev (RUS) (2-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5) recorded a peak of 3.136 million viewers on Nine in Australia on Sunday 30/01/2022.
