45% of clubs in the five major European leagues (Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga, Liga BBVA, Serie A TIM and Ligue 1), use Vine, a Twitter application that hosts "gifs," or six-second looped mini-videos, according to figures released by News Tank on 06/11/2014.

The Premier League, with 85% of clubs on Vine and a total of 46.6 million videos viewed, is the most active league on this platform. The Serie A is the league that generates the least traffic with 13.5 million videos viewed.
