Paris 2024: calendar for the 549 Paralympic Games events (from 29/08-08/09)

Paris 2024 has unveiled the calendar of the Paralympic Games, established in collaboration with all the international federations, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and OBS (in charge of producing the TV coverage of the Games) on 01/02/2023.

The Paris 2024 Games will bring together 22 Paralympic sports and 23 disciplines for 549 events that will be contested by 4,400 athletes from 184 delegations over 11 days from 29/08 to 08/09/2024. 65,000 spectators (including 30,000 free of charge) will be able to attend the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games which will take place in the streets of Paris, between the Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde, on Thursday 28/08/2024.

"The day after the Opening Ceremony the first medals will be awarded in Para Taekwondo (three medals), Para Swimming (16 medals) and Para Cycling (four medals). In total, 23 medals will be awarded on the first day!" explained the organising committee.
