LaLiga: Alejandro Scannapieco (Globant) appointed CEO of LaLiga Tech

Alejandro Scannapieco (ESP), former CFO of Globant (from September 2008 to September 2018), an international company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (USA) and specialised in digital transformation consulting, has been appointed CEO of LaLiga Tech, LaLiga's technology solutions range, said Scannapieco via his Linkedin account, on 22/01/2023.

The appointment comes four months after the announcement of a joint venture between LaLiga and Globant to "create a technology company that will reinvent the sports and entertainment industry." The joint venture will be 51% owned by Globant, according to the US business and financial news website Bloomberg.
