UEFA has partnered with RB Leipzig to test a 100% digital ticketing solution when they host Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Red Bull Arena (Leipzig, GER) on Matchday 24 of the 2022-23 Bundesliga season on 11/03/2023, announced the club on 02/02/2023.

At the match, Leipzig fans wishing to take part in the test will be able to use the UEFA Ticket app instead of the solution that the club itself has been offering since 2020, which is also 100% digital.

The European confederation wants to test its solution so that it can be offered to spectators attending the 2022-23 finals of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League. It should also be used during Euro 2024 in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024, during which four matches will be held at the Red Bull Arena (47,069 capacity).
