Liga Portugal Bwin: launch of a tender process for international media rights (2023-2026 cycle)

The Portuguese pay-TV group Sport TV has launched a tender process for the international broadcasting rights to the Liga Portugal Bwin for the 2023-2026 cycle (three seasons) on 06/02/2023.

Sport TV is responsible for marketing the international broadcasting rights of the Portuguese top flight over this period. Interested broadcasters must submit their bids by 12:00 CET on 28/02/2023. The international broadcasting rights to the competition were distributed by marketing agency Sportfive over the 2020-2023 cycle.

The rights include the broadcast of all Liga Portugal Bwin matches as well as highlights on each matchday, with the possibility for the broadcaster to sublicense the rights to one game per matchday for broadcast in Portuguese. Sport TV also reserves the right to show matches pay-per-view and in Portuguese via its official application.
