"The FFF and the Agence Nationale du Sport (ANS) are pooling their schemes dedicated to the financial support of projects for the creation of Foot5 and outdoor Futsal pitches for clubs and local authorities," announced the Fédération Française de Football on 02/02/2023. This shared approach is reflected in a one-stop shop, which has been in place since 01/01/2023 and merges the two previous schemes into a single one.

The FFF, through the Fonds d'Aide au Football Amateur (FAFA, Amateur Football Support Fund), has earmarked a budget of €6m over four years for an investment plan aimed at building 200 new Foot5 pitches (rural and semi-rural areas) and outdoor Futsal pitches (urban and suburban areas) by 2024.

This objective is in line with the "5,000 sports pitches" plan that the ANS is deploying, of which €1.4m (out of a total of €109.4m, see below) will be used to finance these Foot5 and Futsal facilities in 2023.

"FAFA and the ANS will be able to subsidise up to 80% of a club's and/or community's outdoor football and futsal pitch projects" (FFF)
