Men's professional football clubs spent a record $1.57bn (€1.46bn) in transfer fees during the 2023 winter transfer window (data from 01 to 31/01/2023), an increase of 49.4% compared to 2022 ($1.03bn/€900m), according to the "International Transfer Snapshot" report on the latest transfer window published by FIFA on 09/02/2023.
