ESPN+, an OTT sports platform launched in the USA on 12/04/2018, has 24.9 million subscribers as of 31/12/2022, an increase of 600,000 subscribers since 01/10/2022, according to quarterly results published by The Walt Disney Company, parent company of the ESPN sports pay-TV package, on 08/02/2023.

The platform has been available at a price of $9.99 (€9.29) per month since 23/08/2022, compared to $6.99 (€6.50) previously. Disney+, the group's other OTT platform launched on 12/11/2019, alone had 161.8 million subscribers worldwide as of 31/12/2022 (-2.4 million subscribers since 01/10/2022).

The Walt Disney Company posted revenues of $23.51bn (€21.88bn) in the first quarter of the 2023 fiscal year, compared to $21.82bn (€20.3bn) over the same period in 2022.
