2022-23 Champions League: head-to-head Paris SG - Bayern Munich (Round of 16, 1^st leg, 14/02/2023)

With more than 167 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, as of 01/02/2023), Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has 47.4% more than FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), who count just over 113 million, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their 2022-23 Champions League Round of 16 match at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) on Tuesday 14/02/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

In terms of the revenue paid out by UEFA to the clubs participating in this edition of the Champions League, FC Bayern already have €77.3m in guaranteed revenue (excluding market pool), compared with €67.8m for PSG. This difference can be explained by both sporting performances (which have already brought in €16.8m for Bayern, who qualified after finishing first in their group, compared with €13.06m for PSG, who only finished second in theirs) and by UEFA coefficient-based income (€35.24m for the German club, ranked second, compared with €29.55m for their opponents, ranked seventh).
