Spain/LaLiga Impulso: 3^rd working session with CVC for 42 clubs at Port Aventura World (ESP)

"Branding, digital strategy, business development" as well as an evaluation of progress since the first session, are the main topics on which 40 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs (plus CF Fuenlabrada and SD Amorebieta, D3) will be working at Port Aventura World (ESP) for a week as part of the roll-out of LaLiga Impulso, according to the body on 14/02/2023. LaLiga Impulso is a project resulting from an agreement between the Spanish league and its clubs (with the exception of Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF and UD Ibiza) and the investment fund CVC Capital Partners.

This third working session, which brings together 450 representatives of Spanish professional clubs in the theme park's reception areas, follows a second one held in Madrid (ESP) in September 2022. LaLiga Group International, the holding company in charge of developing the strategic project, was officially created on 01/02/2022. CVC holds 8.2% of the capital in exchange for the promise of a total investment of €1.994bn in Spanish professional football by 2024.
