UEFA: Philippe Diallo (FFF) candidate to join the executive committee at the Congress on 05/04/2023

Philippe Diallo, deputy vice-president of the French Football Federation, is one of 11 candidates - for seven positions - for a four-year term on the UEFA executive committee, according to the European confederation on 16/02/2023.

UEFA will renew half of its executive committee at its 47^th Ordinary Congress scheduled for Wednesday 05/04/2023 in Lisbon (POR). The election of the president (Aleksander Ceferin is the sole candidate) is also on the agenda.

Since 03/05/2016, France has been represented on the UEFA executive committee by Florence Hardouin. However, the FFF's general manager was given a precautionary suspension on 11/03/2023. She has been summoned on 21/02/2023 for an interview prior to her dismissal.

"Florence Hardouin is a member of the UEFA executive committee, but will leave it. From then on, if I didn't present my candidacy, France would lose its place. That's what made me decide.
