LFP: Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the "first European league" to open a server on Discord (messaging platform)

The Ligue 1 Uber Eats has become "the first European league to open an official server (a topic-based channel) on Discord", a community instant messaging platform, announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 22/02/2023. "By launching its Discord server, the Ligue 1 wishes to bring together fans to exchange, share and debate news about the league and the clubs," explained the LFP.

The Ligue 1 Uber Eats Discord server offers different types of content:
⚽️ a list of upcoming matches and information about them (broadcaster, date...)
⚽️ updated information about the league (calendar, table...)
⚽️ participative conversation threads (votes, discussions, photo sharing, polls)
⚽️ news channels where the latest Ligue 1-related content is shared (interviews, videos, etc.)
⚽️ a private messaging system for discussions with one or more other supporters
