DAZN: Marc Watson (Eleven) appointed as chief commercial officer from February 2023

Marc Watson, co-founder and CEO of pay-TV group Eleven Sports, has been appointed as chief commercial officer (CCO) of the OTT sports platform DAZN, on 23/02/2023. Watson succeeds Jacopo Tonoli.

"Watson co-founded and was CEO of competitor business Eleven Group alongside Andrea Radrizzani in 2015. He was instrumental in establishing BT Sport (pay-TV) and led Eleven's expansion into more than 230 markets during his seven-year tenure as the company's CEO. Marc will lead the rights and content acquisition strategy and drive other commercial initiatives across DAZN Group," explained the platform.

"Watson's appointment follows DAZN's recent announcement that it has completed the acquisition of Eleven Group businesses and US-headquartered social media creative agency Team Whistle," added the platform.
