Olympique de Marseille: Mojabet (sports betting), regional partner in Africa (2022-2028)

Mojabet, a sports betting operator active in the African market, has become a regional partner (4^th level) of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) in Africa for six seasons (2022-2028), announced the club on 24/02/2023.

As part of the agreement, Mojabet has the status of "official betting partner" in the region and "will provide dedicated content for African viewers on the club's advertising panels for all Ligue 1 matches played at the Orange Vélodrome (Marseille, FRA)," said the French club.

Olympique de Marseille has another betting partner: ParionsSport, the sports betting brand of the operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ), which extended its partnership with the Marseille club as a premium partner (2^nd level) and shoulder sponsor for three additional seasons (2022-2025), on 12/07/2022.

• In France, the National Gaming Authority (ANJ) created a working group in July 2022 dedicated to sponsorship by sports betting operators.
  
  • The group will report its conclusions, which "will focus in particular on shirt partnerships and the naming of competitions", in March 2023.
