FFF/Noël Le Graët affair: "I have decided to resign from the executive committee" (J. Sandjak)

"Faithful to the principles and values that have shaped my commitments since my youth, faithful to those who have entrusted me with the responsibility of promoting and serving, in their name, an open and emancipating football within the national representative body, I have decided today to submit my resignation from the FFF executive committee," declared Jamel Sandjak, president of the Ligue Paris-Île-de-France and member of the French Football Federation's executive committee, in a statement to Agence France Presse on 23/02/2023.

"Elected to participate in a collective project, I can only conclude that we are powerless to face the challenges of tomorrow," added Sandjak.

Jamel Sandjak is the first member of the executive committee to resign since Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF, stepped down on 11/01/2023, and then the publication of the final report by the General Inspectorate of Education, Sport and Research (IGÉSR) "relating to the management of the FFF and compliance with the obligations attached to it" on 15/02/2023.
