OneFootball, an international football media platform based in Germany, is implementing a further 150 redundancies in February 2023, according to specialised media reports on 23/02/2023.

This number would represent approximately 32% of the platform's total workforce, which is currently reported to be 470 people. OneFootball is said to have taken this decision once again due to the poor financial results of the "OneFootball Labs" joint venture dedicated to Web3. The platform had already made 62 redundancies at the beginning of December 2022, according to information gathered by News Tank Football on 21/12/2022. This number represented approximately 11.5% of OneFootball's then 540-strong workforce.

OneFootball had raised $300m (€283m) to support its Web3 expansion, and thus created "OneFootball Labs" in collaboration with the incubator Liberty City Ventures, the digital asset company Dapper Labs and the digital entertainment and blockchain company Animoca Brands, on 28/04/2022.
