SL Benfica: a joint venture with HJKSA Group to develop activities in Saudi Arabia

SL Benfica (Liga Portugal Bwin) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Saudi holding Heights & Jewels KSA Group (HJKSA) in order to "explore new sporting and commercial opportunities in Saudi Arabia and implement the club's training methodology in this region," announced the latter on 25/02/2023.

The agreement, which is materialised by the creation of a joint venture called "Making Saudi Heroes", includes the creation of a working group consisting of "HJKSA representatives and a dedicated team of Benfica professionals based in Riyadh (KSA)," explained the Portuguese club.

The group will be responsible for evaluating opportunities "opportunities that may arise in the territory, in relation to the development of the sports industry, training of high-performance and Olympic athletes in a range of sports, including football, basketball, handball, futsal, volleyball, rink hockey, and track and field," added the Lisbon club.
