France: resignation of Noël Le Graët, president of the French Football Federation since 18/06/2011

Noël Le Graët, born on 25/12/1941 and president of the Fédération Française de Football (FFF) since 18/06/2011, announced his resignation at the opening of the FFF executive committee meeting held at the authority's headquarters on Tuesday 28/02/2023, according to media reports.

The FFF executive committee, composed of 14 members reduced to 13 after the resignation of Jamel Sandjak on 23/02/2023 and then to 12 following the resignation of Noël Le Graët, is meeting to decide on the consequences to be drawn from the analysis of a report by the General Inspectorate of Education, Sport and Research (IGÉSR) relating to the management of the French Football Federation and compliance with the obligations attached to it, which was submitted on 15/02/2023.
