France/Amazon: a documentary series in cities whose Ligue 1 clubs are trying to avoid relegation

Prime Video (Amazon) is launching the documentary series "Sur la Brèche : un club en mission, une ville sous tension (On the Go: A Club on a Mission, a City under Tension), which takes place "behind the scenes in cities whose clubs are playing for survival in Ligue 1 Uber Eats" for the end of the 2022-23 season, announced the platform on 28/02/2023.

"This year, four clubs will drop back down to the Ligue 2 BKT, four straight relegations without play-offs. This is an unprecedented and stressful situation for the clubs facing relegation, but also for their supporters and all those involved in the city who live by the rhythm of the matches and for whom their club is more than a club. Prime Video has chosen to illustrate these intimate ties and this breathtaking scenario in this new four-episode docu-series," explained the platform.

The series is being produced in collaboration with the production company 21 Production and features former player and current consultant Edouard Cissé, who goes to meet the various players involved in the end of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season. The…
