Basketball/Euroleague: United Media extends broadcasting rights in 8 European countries (2023-2028)

United Media, a subsidiary of the Netherlands telecommunications operator United Group, has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7Days EuroCup in eight European countries over the 2023-2028 cycle (five seasons), announced Euroleague Basketball on 28/02/2023.

United Group's pay-TV package Nova has thus extended its broadcasting rights for both competitions in Greece and Cyprus, while the pay-TV group Sportklub has extended its TV rights in Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Northern Macedonia.

"This new multi-year agreement will see Nova and Sportklub's coverage of Euroleague Basketball competitions break the two-decade mark, and it continues United Media's strategy of expanding its portfolio in Southeast Europe, where basketball is one of the dominant sports," explained the league.
