Rekabet Kurumu, the Turkish competition authority, validated, on 04/11/2014, the agreement concluded on 21/05/2012 between the TFF (Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu, the Turkish federation) and Krea İçerik Hizmetleri A.Ş. ve Prodüksiyon -- the owner of the Digiturk pay-TV group -- for the extension of domestic broadcast rights contract for the Spor Toto Süper Lig (Turkish 1st division) 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Digiturk has been the domestic broadcaster of the Turkish first division since 2001. The group and the Turkish federation had included and exercised an extension option of the broadcast contract for the 2014-15 season, and negotiated in May 2012 for a further extension option through the 2015-2017 season. Digiturk pays $321m (€257.5m) per season to the TFF over the 2010-2015 period. The pay-TV group will pay $450m to the federation (€361m) per season over the 2015 to 2017 period, or a 40.2% increase per season.
