“Today’s (13/11/2014) decision by the Chairman of the Adjudicatory Chamber contains numerous incomplete and erroneous representations of the facts and conclusions detailed in (my) report. I intend to appeal this decision to the FIFA Appeal Committee,” said Michael J. Garcia, chairman of the Investigatory Chamber of the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) Ethics Committee, and author of the inquiry report into the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

This statement follows that of Hans-Joachim Eckert, chairman of the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee on 13/11/2014, according to which "the Investigatory Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee did not find any violations or breaches of the relevant rules and regulations."
