Aston Villa FC: a turnover of £178.4m (-2.8%) & pre-tax profit of £0.4m in 2021-22

Aston Villa FC (Premier League) had revenue of £178.4m (€209.5m, as of 31/05/2022) for the financial year 2022 (from 01/06/2021 at 05/31/2022), down 2.8% compared to the 2021 financial year (£183.6m / €213.5m at 05/31/2021), announces the Birmingham club (ANG) on 03/01/2023.

The club also posted a pre-tax profit of £0.4m (€0.47m), compared with a loss of £37.3m (€43.4m) the previous year. The club's wage bill remained stable at £137m (€160.9m).

"Plans to redevelop our iconic home (Villa Park) which include building a new North Stand and expanding our hospitality, retail and entertainment facilities were formalised by a full multidisciplinary design and engineering team during the year and approved by Birmingham City Council in December 2022. We are delighted that Villa Park has been shortlisted as a stadium in the UK and Ireland’s Euro 2028 bid.
