DAZN: Kevin Mayer (USA) steps down as chairman of the board of directors

American Kevin Mayer is stepping down as Chairman of the DAZN Group Board of Directors at the end of his two-year contract on 03/01/2023, the sports OTT platform announced on 02/28/2023. He succeeded John Skipper on 03/03/2021. No successor has yet been named.

"Mayer was previously chairman of direct-to-consumer and international at The Walt Disney Company. There, he launched and ran the company's streaming businesses including Disney+, Hulu (American VoDa), ESPN+ (OTT sports) and Hotstar (Indian VoD), as well as overseeing Disney's global advertising sales, content sales, channels sales and international operations. Prior to that role, Mayer served as Disney's chief strategy officer, leading the acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 21st Century Fox and BamTech," said DAZN upon his appointment on 03/03/2021.
