Manchester City FC (Premier League) has called on fans and the local community to "share their feedback" on the development concept for the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG) and its surrounding infrastructure, on 28/02/2023.

Manchester City's project, which is currently undergoing a feasibility study and aims to deliver a best-in-class fan experience and year-round entertainment and leisure destination at the Etihad Stadium" includes:
⚽️ an expanded north stand with a total capacity of 60,000 (compared to 53,480 at present)
⚽️ the creation of a covered area called "City Square", with a 3,000-capacity fan zone, food and drink outlets
⚽️ A new club shop, museum, hotel and new function areas
⚽️ A space for start-ups and medium-sized organisations to locate and collaborate with the club, City Football Group and Etihad Campus partners.

"Should a planning application be submitted and successfully approved, the construction programme would take place over a three-year period, with works staged to minimise disruption during the football season," explained Manchester City.
