Germany: Christian Keller, managing director of FC Köln, elected as a DFL supervisory board member

Christian Keller, managing director of 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga), has been elected a member of the DFL supervisory board at its general assembly, announced the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH on 03/03/2023.

Keller succeeds Fredi Bobic, managing director of Hertha BSC until January 2023, who resigned as a member of the DFL supervisory board after leaving the German club.

The DFL supervisory board consists, as of 03/03/2023, of the following six members, appointed for three years (from 2022 to 2025):
• president Hans-Joachim Watzke (Borussia Dortmund);
• vice-president Oliver Leki (SC Freiburg), whose position is currently suspended due to his function as interim co-CEO of the DFL with Axel Hellmann (Eintracht Frankfurt) until 30/06/2023;
• Rüdiger Fritsch (SV Darmstadt 98, 2.Bundesliga);
• Christian Keller (1. FC Köln);
• Stephan Schippers (Borussia Monchengladbach);
• Ralf Huschen (SC Paderborn 07).
