Formula 1: ESPN extends broadcasting rights in Latin America & the Caribbean (2023-2025)

The pay-TV group ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) has extended its exclusive full broadcasting rights in Latin America and the Caribbean (excluding Brazil and Mexico) to the Formula One World Championship for the 2023-2025 cycle, announced Formula One Group on 03/03/2023. These rights are not exclusive in Argentina.

"The deal will see fans in Latin America able to tune into ESPN for full live coverage of all practice and qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events and Grand Prix for over half of all races in the 2023 calendar, and follow the full season via ESPN's streaming service, Star+, which will broadcast all sessions of the 2023 championship on the platform," explained Formula One Group.

"Formula 1 will be broadcast on ESPN Extra and digitally on ESPN Play in the Caribbean, and on ESPN and the Fox Sports networks in Argentina (acquired by the Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro from Disney on 03/05/2022) and Chile. There will also be dedicated F1 coverage across ESPN.com and social media throughout the season," added the group.
