FFF: launch of a carpooling platform dedicated to fans in collaboration with Volkswagen & StadiumGo

The French Football Federation, with its major partner Volkswagen and the French startup StadiumGo, has launched "a carpooling platform intended for the general public for matches of the French men's, women's and U21 teams as well as the final of the Coupe de France, scheduled on 29/04/2023," announced the body on 06/03/2023.

"Fans planning to attend the matches will be able to share information about their journeys to enable other fans to join them and thus share travel costs while reducing the carbon footprint generated by using a vehicle for several people. A messaging service between drivers and car sharers will also be available. In addition to the platform, a number of advantages are offered to encourage carpooling and promote electromobility (parking spaces, access to the pitch, loan of Volkswagen electric vehicles, etc.)," explained the FFF.
