Serie A TIM: Adelaide City FC (A-League) becomes the "first international affiliate" of Atalanta BC

Atalanta BC (Serie A TIM) has signed "an international affiliation development agreement" with Australian football club Adelaide City Football Club (A-League), announced the Italian club on 06/03/2023.

"key synergies and activities between the two Academies will be implemented within the following months to provide all young players and trainers with sporting and educational experiences; also as a way to foster touch points pivoted around a thread linking Italy and Australia to enable a proactive dialogue and exchange, embedded in a path of mutual cultural and football-related growth," explained Atalanta.

"This relationship was borne more than 20 years ago; inspired by Atalanta BC's youth manager Loris Margotto whom I respect and trust. We regularly talked about a dream to give Adelaide City juniors all the proper tools of development for the best part of two decades.
