Rhys Beer has been appointed SVP platform & content for the football media platform OneFootball from March 2023, announced Beer via LinkedIn on 08/03/2023.

Rhys Beer has held various roles at Meta Group, parent company of social networks Facebook and Instagram and instant messaging platforms Whatsapp and Messenger, where he led sports programming in EMEA (April 2018 to July 2019), global sports programming (August 2019 to March 2021) and then served as head of content strategy and programming internationally (March 2021 to February 2023). Rhys Beer was also vice president of sports distribution and business development at the US media and entertainment conglomerate NBCUniversal (July 2013 to March 2018) and commercial director for media at the OTT platform DAZN (January 2009 to June 2013).
