DFL: launch of the "Bundesliga Dream" programme for the development of young players in Thailand

The DFL, in collaboration with the Thai free-TV group PPTV HD36 and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT, a government agency in charge of sports development in Thailand under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports), has launched the "Bundesliga Dream" programme focusing on "youth development" in Thailand, announced the German profesionnal league on 09/03/2023.

"The international 'Bundesliga Dream' program will give Thailand's top talent the opportunity to train and play friendly matches with the academies of three Bundesliga clubs (FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt)."

The DFL has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the SAT which focuses on "the advancement of technical and sporting structures, as well as initiatives with key football stakeholders that will contribute to the overall sporting success in Thailand." This agreement also aims to promote "youth development in leagues and their respective clubs."
