Athletics: Infront extends worldwide TV rights to World Athletics' indoor circuit (2024-2029)

Infront has extended its "worldwide media rights" for the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold (indoor track and field events) with World Athletics for the 2024-2029 cycle, according to the Swiss media and marketing rights agency on 20/03/2023.

"The six-year agreement covers international rights to all World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series meetings. The 2023 World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series (27/01-25/02/2023) has enjoyed coverage in over 70 territories, further boosting its exposure. With a strong partnership in place, the collaboration has helped to further strengthen the Tour's global presence," said Infront.

The agency had acquired these rights under an initial three-year agreement for the 2021-2023 cycle formalised on 10/12/2020. Infront already already holds the international media rights to the World Athletics Continental Tour for ten years from 2020 and the Diamond League for five years from 2025 under agreements signed in 2019.
