Italy: Volkswagen (car manufacturer) & Biraghi (dairy products), partners of the FIGC from 2023

German car manufacturer Volkswagen has become the "automotive partner" of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio for two years (2023-2024), announced the Italian Football Federation on 22/03/2023. The agreement covers all of the FIGC's national teams (men's, women's, youth, futsal, beach soccer and esports).

As part of the deal, the German brand will "promote its range of 100% electric-powered ID models. Over the course of the partnership, the brand will also develop initiatives designed to engage the public and its customers, inviting them to follow the national team and participate in events," said the body. The car manufacturer is also committed to three other national federations: the Fédération Française de Football (major partner, 2014-2023), the Deutscher Fussball Bund (main partner, 2019-2024; between €25m and €30m per year) and US Soccer (presentation partner, since 2019).

The FIGC has also welcomed another official partner: the Italian dairy brand Biraghi, which will have visibility on the sidelines, on interview and press conference backdrops, and in the hospitality areas…
