China: Shinai Sports acquires exclusive streaming rights to Roland-Garros (2023-2025)

The Chinese company Shinai Sports has acquired the exclusive streaming rights in China to Roland-Garros for the 2023-2025 cycle, announced the French Tennis Federation (FFT) on 23/03/2023. These rights were previously held by Chinese internet services group Tencent.

"This new agreement will allow Shinai Sports to ensure wide coverage and promotion of the tournament, notably via its two main platforms iQiyi and iQiyi Sports. Tennis fans will have the opportunity to follow a maximum number of matches and different events, with editorial coverage, dedicated tournament channels and local language commentary," explained the FFT.

"Shinai Sports holds the rights to a number of sporting events (Women's World Cup 2023, Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Serie A TIM). After broadcasting the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open in recent years, the Chinese digital platform is expanding its tennis offering with this new partnership," added the body.
