Padel: Premier Padel (FIP/QSI) to launch an international women's circuit with more than 110 players

Premier Padel, the international padel circuit supported by the International Padel Federation (FIP), the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), has announced the creation of a women's circuit that will bring together "over 110 female players" on 27/03/2023. The stages of this new competition will be announced "once discussions with promoters are finalised," said the organisers, whose men's circuit was launched in February 2022.

"The involvement of female athletes, under the leadership of the International Padel Players Association (IPPA), strengthens Premier Padel in every aspect as a platform for top-tier competition and the trusted tour of all professional padel athletes," explained the organisation, which is in competition with another professional tour, the World Padel Tour (created in 2013 and organised by Setpoint Events, a private entity partly owned by the Iberian beer company Estrella Damm).
