Paris Saint-Germain Handball: a summer tour in Tokyo (Japan) from 26/07 to 03/08/2023

Paris Saint-Germain Handball (Liqui Moly StarLigue) is organising its first Asian preparation tour in Tokyo (Japan) from 26/07 to 03/08/2023, announced the club on 29/03/2023.

PSG Handball will participate in several training sessions at the Ajinomoto Training center, the national indoor training centre for Japanese Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and will play two preparatory matches at the Ariake Arena (12,000 capacity) on Tuesday 01 and Wednesday 02/08/2023. The first match is scheduled against Zeekstar Tokyo, home of former French international and PSG player Luc Abalo, while the club's second opponent is yet to be determined (as of 29/03/2023).

The tour is organised by the Japanese company Future Corporation, which is the "presenting partner". This is PSG Handball's third tour, following those to Qatar in 2014 and 2015, while the club's men's football team played three matches in Japan in July 2022, also as part of a summer tour.
