DAZN Italy: inauguration of the "Network Operation Center" near Milan on 28/03/2023

DAZN Italy has inaugurated its "Network Operation Center", located in Cologno Monzese (near Milan, Lombardy, ITA), with the aim of "transferring the responsibility for monitoring the quality of service to the local team and ensuring greater capacity for intervention," on 28/03/2023. It will be linked to DAZN's global operations centre in Leeds (ENG).

"This is a crucial step in the technological investment strategy implemented by DAZN in Italy, with a view to taking an even more decisive step towards the development of additional know-how and continuing to support the path of digitalisation of its Italian branch," explained the OTT sports platform.

The inauguration of the new facility comes after DAZN experienced several technical problems in Italy with the broadcast of certain Serie A TIM matches since the start of the 2022-23 season. The platform compensated affected customers "in accordance with the regulations in force".
