Rugby: adidas extends as equipment supplier of New Zealand national teams from 2023

adidas has extended as the official equipment supplier to all New Zealand Rugby national teams from 2023, announced the New Zealand Federation on 30/03/2023.

The German equipment manufacturer has been supplying the match and training kits as well as the shoes for the "All Blacks" since 1999. Over the last rights cycle of this partnership (2020-2023), adidas paid €10.8 million per year, a record amount for a rugby Federation.

The All Blacks, three-time world champions (1987, 2011, 2015), will be the only team to wear an adidas kit during the 2023 World Cup (held in France from 08/09 to 28/10/2023). New Zealand will face the French national team in the opening match at the Stade de France (80,000 capacity) in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) on 08/09/2023.

With four national teams under contract (30% of the 20 participating teams), Macron is the most represented equipment supplier in the competition.
