The official mascot for Euro 2016, a young boy, was revealed via a Vine video, on Twitter, on 18/11/2014. The official account of the Euro 2016 (@EURO2016) posted a message at 11:00 CET that revealed the mascot.

The mascot, which bears the number 16 (in reference to the year 2016), will be named Driblou, Goalix or Super Victor after an internet vote by fans.

  • UEFA has invited users to vote for the name of the mascot, via the euro2016.fr website:
    • Voting will end on 26/11/2014 at 23:59 CET.
    • The name will be announced on 30/11/2014 during the Téléfoot mafazine programme on the French TV channel TF1.
    • The mascot will have its own accounts on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
    • Products of the mascot will be available for sale from spring 2015.
