UEFA/CONMEBOL: Stéphanie Frappart (FRA) to referee the Women's Finalissima 2023 (England-Brazil)

France's Stéphanie Frappart will be the central referee for the first-ever women's "Finalissima" between England and Brazil at Wembley Stadium (London, ENG) on Thursday 06/04/2023, announced UEFA on 29/03/2023.

This women's Finalissima will see the Women's Euro 2022 winners and the Copa América Femenina 2022 winners compete against each other. It will take place one year after the first men's Finalissima, which was held in June 2022 (3-0 victory for Argentina over Italy).

Stéphanie Frappart (born on 14/12/1983) made football and refereeing history by becoming the first woman to officiate:

⚽️ a Ligue 1 Uber Eats match (Amiens SC Football - RC Strasbourg Alsace) on 28/04/2019
