Bundesliga: partnership with Footballco (digital media) to distribute content in the MENA region

Bundesliga International has partnered with the US-based digital football media company Footballco, parent company of sports news site Goal.com and Dubai-based platform Koora, to deliver content in MENA and sub-Saharan Africa from 2023, announced the subsidiary of DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH on 30/03/2023.

"Working directly with the DFL, Footballco gains access to the league's media database, where each outlet is able to use video, photo, graphics and more to produce and release their own content formats, telling each story to millions of users in their own distinct voice," explained Bundesliga International.

"Footballco joins a group of more than 20 content partners strategically placed around the world, working in collaboration with the league and its respective clubs to deliver engaging and insightful content. Every season, posts from content partners reach nearly 2 billion unique users, with engagement close to 500 million across social and digital sites," added the body.
