• Manchester United FC (Premier League) has announced a net profit of £6.3m (€7.1m) for the second quarter of the 2022 financial year.
• The Provincial Court of Madrid, Spain's court of first instance in civil and criminal matters, has once again rejected the precautionary measures requested by Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and Athletic Club Bilbao, which aimed to paralyse the LaLiga Impulso project that the Spanish League has been rolling out for several months with the investment fund CVC and 38 other Spanish professional clubs.
