Decathlon: a turnover of €15.4bn (+11.6%), including €4.7bn in France (+12%) in 2022

Decathlon posted a turnover of €15.4bn in 2022, up 11.6% at at constant currency and perimeter compared to 2021 (€13.8bn), announced the French sporting goods design, production and distribution group on 03/04/2023.

The group's net profit was €923m in 2022, compared with €913m in 2021. Decathlon is present in 72 countries, with 1,751 shops (325 in France) and 105,000 employees (24,700 in France). Internationally, e-commerce accounted for 17% (nearly €2.6bn) of the group's total turnover in 2022, compared with 8% in 2019.

In France, Decathlon generated a turnover of €4.7bn (including VAT), up 12% compared to 2021 (€4.2bn) and 21% compared to 2019 (€3.3bn). 25% of Decathlon's sales were made in France. 15% of this revenue was generated online, up 135% compared to 2019.
